#FSX CAPTAIN SIM 757 COLD AND DARK FULL#
In fact, you have a full 60 seconds to hit only 60% engine speed (70 seconds for hot/high conditions). Therefore, you should NOT be at 100% engine operation before 45 seconds. The T-56 is a single-shaft powerplant that won't even spin up to Low Speed Ground Idle (LSGI) until about 40-45 seconds after the starter engages. Has anyone seen if CS has fixed the faulty simulation of the systems in the v1.1 FSX C-130? Is the engine start sequence still wrong? What about the fact that the electrical systems are goofy? And that the hydraulic systems are configured wrong?Ĭase in point as far as the FS9 CS C-130:Įngine start: The FS9 C-130 version will start and be running within 5, maybe 10 seconds after energizing the starter button. Thanks in advance, and sorry to bother everyone on this forum with a CS problem. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help on this. If I toggle the FSX fuel dump command, the fuel dumps much faster, but toggling it off doesn't stop the dump apparently initiated by the CS C-130 software. I have had all 4 engines flame out because all the fuel dumped. I've checked the switches and they are all in the off position and yet in the external view I see clouds pouring from both wingtips.

There's no icon for this, but there are numerous switches on the overhead panel to initiate fuel dumps from all the tanks. I must be hitting some combination of keys or maybe something in the VC views or the programming for my Saitek joystick, but it's driving me nuts. I also tried the FSX on/off toggle for dropping objects, but that had no affect. If I hit the icon trying to stop them, nothing happens. However, both in flight and on the ground my aircraft starts dropping flares without me initiating them in any way that I know of. There is an icon menu that includes an icon to initiate flare drops. I wish I could say the same about CS support. This is a great sim program I flew as a navigator on C-130Es and this program accurately reproduces the Herky experience. I have posted this question on the Captain Sim forum, but have had no response, so I'm trying here for help.
